Room Reservation Guidelines：
Songxue Lodge and Ski Hostel give priority to individuals involved in ecological, conservation, environmental education, and training activities.
Booking Information:
1.Booking Hours: 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM.
2.Online Booking Period: Rooms can be booked from the 2nd to the 30th day in advance.
3.Payment Requirement: To secure your reservation and price, you must agree to pay the total room rate at the time of booking through our system.
4.Immediate Payment: After booking online, please complete the payment immediately. If you close or navigate away from the payment screen, the system will treat it as a failed transaction and the reservation will be canceled.
5.Accepted Payment Methods: Credit card, National Travel Card, LINE Pay. ATM transfers and wire transfers are not accepted.
6.Credit Card Charges: Payments made via credit card on the website will be charged to the provided card immediately.
7.Cardholder Verification: To ensure the security of your credit card transaction, the booking details must match those of the person staying. You must provide the same ID at check-in. Failure to provide matching documentation may result in the cancellation of your reservation.
8.No Membership Required: Membership is not required for booking. You must provide details for both the booker and the guest. Matching identification must be provided at check-in. Failure to provide matching documentation may result in the cancellation of your reservation.
9.Changes to Reservations: If you need to change your stay dates, cancel, or modify your room type, please cancel the existing reservation online and rebook. We do not accept manual or online changes to existing bookings.
10.Room Type Changes: On the day of check-in, if you wish to change your room type, you will need to pay the difference if upgrading to a higher-priced room. No refund will be given if downgrading to a lower-priced room. Meal vouchers will be provided according to the standard number of guests for the room type you stay in.
11.Separate Orders Required: Our booking system does not have a shopping cart function. Please place separate orders for each room type. Each booking can only select one room type and is limited to a maximum of 2 Songxue Lodge suites or 10 beds in the Ski Hostel Shared Room per order. Orders exceeding these limits may be canceled at our discretion.
12.Pre-Purchase Booking: Online reservations are considered "pre-purchase transactions" and are eligible for National Travel Card subsidies. Cardholders can book with confidence. For details on travel subsidies, please refer to the regulations on the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration's website.
13.Pricing: All online prices include tax. Accommodation fees cover room rate and meals (breakfast and dinner) according to the standard number of guests for the room type. No refunds will be provided for unused meals.
14.Policy Changes: Our department reserves the right to modify any of the above policies.
Accommodation Rules:
1.Meals Included: Reservations at Songxue Lodge and Ski Hostel include breakfast and dinner.
The restaurant's hours are: Breakfast from 07:00 to 09:30 and Dinner from 17:00 to 19:00 (with dining available until 19:30). Please note that seating is limited, and peak dining times are from 07:30 to 08:30 and 17:30 to 18:00. To avoid wait times, it is recommended to avoid peak hours.
2.Meal Vouchers: The meal vouchers provided with your accommodation are valid only for the specified dinner and breakfast on the following day. They must be used within the restaurant's operating hours and cannot be refunded, deducted from the room rate, or replaced if lost. 3.Alternative Meals: If you cannot dine within the restaurant's operating hours, you will need to provide your own meals.

5.Weekends and Holidays: Every Friday, Saturday, the day before public holidays, and during July and August of the summer vacation, as well as winter vacation, are considered holidays (based on the Ministry of Education's announcement).
6.Accommodation Availability: Songxue Lodge and Ski Hostel are closed for accommodation on the night before New Year's Eve, Lunar New Year's Eve, during typhoons or severe weather, and other disaster situations. Otherwise, accommodation is available year-round.
7.Group Travelers: Please prepare a complete guest list (including names, genders, ID numbers, phone numbers, and addresses) for check-in. Individual travelers should bring a national ID card, passport, or residence permit for registration.
8.Room Changes and Extensions: Do not change your room or extend your stay without the consent of the Songxue Lodge front desk.
9.Ski Hostel Shared Room: Bed assignments are based on occupancy needs, and rooms are allocated by staff.
10.Key Policy: Ski Hostel shared rooms do not provide room keys. Please return your card to the designated card return box at the Ski Hostel entrance or to the Songxue Lodge front desk before checking out.
11.Fees Include: The accommodation fee covers the room rate, breakfast, and dinner (according to the standard number of guests for the room type). No refunds will be given for unused meals.
12.Check-In: 15:00 to 17:00. If you cannot arrive within this time frame, please contact the Songxue Lodge front desk at 049-2802980.
Some areas lack street lighting, so for safety reasons, please complete your check-in before 17:00.
13.Check-Out: Check-out is by 10:00 AM the following day. The elevator will be closed and unavailable from 10:30 to 14:30.
14.Environmental Policy: To support environmental efforts, Songxue Lodge and Ski Hostel do not provide disposable toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower caps, razors, bottled water, towels, or bath towels. We provide body wash, shampoo, and hairdryers. Towels and bath towels are available for purchase at the restaurant and convenience store. Please bring your own toiletries and thank you for your cooperation!
15.Check-In for Ski Hostel Guests: Guests staying at the Ski Hostel should check in at the Songxue Lodge front desk.
16.Extra Beds: Only the four-person room type at Songxue Lodge offers extra beds (up to 2 additional beds per room, including blankets, pillows, tea bags, and slippers). The cost for each extra bed is NT$950 (includes breakfast and dinner). Extra beds booked online cannot be canceled or refunded on the day of stay.
17.Service Hours: Songxue Lodge operates from 07:00 to 20:00. Pets, including dogs, cats, and other mammals, are currently not allowed in the park.
18.Hehuanshan National Forest Recreation Area: As the area is located above 3,000 meters, there is a significant temperature difference between day and night. Visitors experiencing symptoms of altitude sickness are advised to descend to alleviate symptoms. Please prepare warm clothing and any personal medications you may need. The front desk at Songxue Lodge cannot provide any medication (such as Acetazolamide or Panadol).
19.Parking: Guests may park in the designated area at the plaza. Please park on the sides without blocking other vehicles. Valuables should be carried with you, as we do not assume responsibility for their safekeeping. During the snow season, ensure that snowplow vehicle paths are kept clear. You are responsible for any obstructions or damages caused.
20.Conditions for Refusal of Accommodation: The lodge reserves the right to refuse accommodation under the following circumstances.
•Possession of prohibited or dangerous items
•Failure to provide identification
•Failure to complete room registration or pay for the reservation
•Using the hostel's facilities for heating or cooking
•Damage to room furnishings or property will require compensation at market value
•Camping is prohibited on the premises
•No alcohol consumption, gambling, smoking, or other disruptive behaviors are allowed to maintain public order
•Maintain cleanliness, respect property, and conserve water and electricity
•No loud noises; please keep noise to a minimum after 22:00
•Pets are not allowed
